Marketplace terms of use
Terms for using Daily Minimart as a classifieds and seller-to-buyer marketplace in Singapore.
The service and its operator
Daily Minimart provides online tools for user listings, communication and, where enabled, product orders. Operator: [insert registered legal entity name, registration number and address]. These terms must be read with the privacy notice, safety guidance, listing rules and any terms displayed at checkout. If a mandatory consumer protection law gives you a right that conflicts with these terms, that law prevails.
Accounts and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly secure your account if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Do not post unlawful, deceptive, infringing, unsafe, counterfeit or prohibited content; impersonate another person; misuse personal data; manipulate reviews; or interfere with the service. We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any required notice or review.
Listings and user transactions
Sellers must have the right to offer each item, provide accurate descriptions and prices, disclose material condition or defects, and honour confirmed fulfillment arrangements. Buyers should review the listing and confirm terms with the seller before committing. Classified-ad enquiries are not orders. For buy-now products, an order is created through checkout and the seller is responsible for the product and fulfillment unless the listing expressly names another seller. Buyer and seller must comply with applicable consumer, product-safety, tax and trading laws.
Payments and orders
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may differ by country or order. For pay-on-pickup or seller-delivery orders, the buyer pays the seller directly at the agreed handover; Daily Minimart does not receive or hold that order payment. If PayPal checkout is offered and selected, PayPal processes the payment under its own terms; the platform records the order and payment status but does not replace PayPal’s dispute process. Listing or advertising fees, where offered, are separate and are shown before purchase. Keep transaction records and do not pay outside the method you agreed.
Returns and consumer rights
Order return requests follow the return information shown for that order and the Returns and refunds policy. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. In Singapore, rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and statutory remedies for goods that do not conform to contract may apply. A seller’s decision or this site’s request window does not determine or limit statutory rights.
Platform limits and liability
We take reasonable steps to operate and secure the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of user content, a seller’s performance, item quality, or recovery of money or goods. To the maximum extent the law permits, we are not responsible for loss caused by a user’s or seller’s conduct, an off-platform arrangement, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This does not exclude or restrict liability where doing so is unlawful, including mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. Nothing here prevents you from pursuing a claim against the seller or another responsible party.
Complaints, changes and governing law
For a listing or order issue, first contact the other party through the service and keep relevant records. You may also report suspected scams or prohibited content. Contact the operator at [insert monitored support contact] for service complaints; do not publish this policy until a real contact channel is provided. The laws applicable to the transaction and your country of residence apply, subject to any mandatory consumer protections. Changes to these terms will be posted with an updated effective date; material changes will be notified where required.
